Round of applause to me for wearing this dress all day and not getting one (1) stain on it, and a second round of applause to Clare who does the absolute most™️ to take my picture
First and maybe last time working with phyllo but I’d say it’s worth it
A very beautiful sunset and a very delicious cocktail in the most important cup
Proof that we’re bffs in real life
We’ve been talking a lot this week about how lucky we were to have Jake (never Grandpa, always Jake), as such a constant in our lives. He was the kindest, smartest, most selfless man imaginable, not to mention well-traveled, well-read, and a true master of both cooking and baking, though he would be too humble to ever say it himself. I don’t think it’s fully sunk in that we’ll never get to see him making his way down the street for Sunday dinner again, or hear one of his many stories about a favorite restaurant in Paris. There’s a comfort in knowing that he’s reunited with my grandma, the absolute love of his life, but we will miss him so very much.
